2025 Aluminum Sector Meeting

Our Aluminum Sector Meeting, dated 12 December 2025, was held with the participation of 60 attendees representing 40 companies.

The meeting was attended by İDDMİB Board of Directors and Aluminum Committee Members Mr. Ali Bakaner, Mr. Mehmet Öncel, Mr. Şevket Çalışkan, and Mr. Yaşar Yerekaban, as well as Ministry of Trade Department Head Murat Albayrak and experts Öznur Önal, Mehmet Cumhur, and Ekrem Ozan Bahçeci. During the meeting, topics discussed included foreign trade data of the sector and sectoral activities, global and Türkiye’s geopolitical and economic outlook, trade policy measures, import policies, the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM), sustainability and the Green Deal, and global and sector-specific developments.
