The esteemed Batimat Paris 2022 fair was conducted in Paris, France, for its 41st edition from October 3rd to 6th, 2022. This event holds a significant position in the building materials industry, drawing global attention and participation. The Istanbul Ferrous and Non-Ferrous Metals Exporters' Association (IDDMIB) coordinated the national participation in this international event for the seventh time in 2022.

The Batimat Paris 2022 fair was hosted at the expansive Expo Paris De Versailles, boasting an exhibition area of 44,086 square meters. This event was organized in tandem with the Interclima Fair and the Ideobain Fair, providing a comprehensive platform for the industry. The Batimat fair was organized across five halls of the seven-hall fair center.

Having its origins in 1959, the biennial Batimat Paris Fair is a prominent platform for the construction and building sector. It covers a broad array of areas, including building and construction equipment, roofing, door and window fittings, locks, interior building construction, floor and wall coverings, parquet, paints, sanitary ware, ceramics, lighting, and insulation.

The national participation organized by IDDMIB included 14 companies that exhibited at hall 2.1. These companies occupied a cumulative area of 216 square meters within the exhibition hall, each showcasing their unique products and innovations. In addition to this, IDDMIB also maintained an information stand at the 6th hall, offering guidance and assistance to the attendees.

Over the course of the fair, the participating companies under the IDDMIB umbrella showcased an array of products encompassing the building materials sector. The product range included aluminum, PVC profiles, metal processing floor riser plastics, panels, insulation materials, floor coverings, and construction chemicals. This variety reflected the breadth and depth of Turkish expertise in the building materials industry.
